How we get paid — in plain English
No hidden fees and no surprises. Here is exactly how TUS is paid, why our incentives line up with yours, and how to see the precise figure whenever you want it.
For most clients, TUS does not send you an invoice. The supplier pays us a commission — a small uplift included in the unit rate you already pay — and only when we have actually secured you a contract. We will tell you the estimated amount before you sign, and the exact amount whenever you ask.
Six things worth knowing
No upfront fees, in most cases
Unless we agree a direct fee with you in advance, you do not pay TUS anything directly. We are paid by the supplier.
A commission built into your rate
Our fee is usually a small uplift included within the unit rate you pay your supplier. The supplier collects it and pays it directly to us.
We only earn if we deliver
TUS only earns a commission if we successfully secure you a supply contract. No contract, no commission.
You can see the exact figure
We will tell you the estimated commission before you agree a contract, and you can ask for the exact amount at any time once it is live.
How it is calculated
Estimated commission is simply the uplift multiplied by the number of units you are expected to use over the term.
No surprise extras
You will not pay any additional fees on top of the commission built into your contract unless we have agreed something different with you, in advance and in writing.
Our incentives line up with yours
Because we only earn when we secure you a contract — and because you can check the figure at any time — there is no reason for us to do anything other than get you the right deal and keep you for the long term. That is also why we put our renewal recommendations in writing.
